🎮 Party roles reference

Tank, healer, support, DPS, magic, and class-slot parties.

Role slots (/create-party-roles)

Current Party Finder role buckets:

  • 🛡️ Tank
  • 💚 Healer
  • 🌟 Support
  • ⚔️ DPS — physical damage (replaces separate ranged/melee in new parties)
  • ✨ Magic — optional caster/magic bucket when the preset or overrides include magic slots

Slot counts must total the party size from the selected preset. Override individual buckets with tank, healer, support, dps, and magic options on /create-party-roles.

Class slots (/create-party-classes)

When a game preset defines class limits, this command creates one join button per class (e.g. Paladin, Priest). Members appear under their class in the embed. Class names come from admin-configured game presets.

Legacy (/create-party)

Older parties may still use separate Ranged DPS and Melee DPS slots. New role-based parties map both into DPS when displayed. /edit-party and /add-user still accept ranged/melee options for compatibility.

Guild Builder event party layouts use similar buckets (tank, heal, DPS, support, TBD) on the web — see Party preset editor.
