Match Browser
Open Match Requests (premium to post; free to apply): host calendar event on post for early RSVP; guest events only after the host accepts applicants and finalizes.
Match Browser (Calendar sidebar) lists open Match Requests from other guilds on the same main game (guilds without a main game set are included). Staff with Events permission can apply for free. Posting a Match Request requires Guild Builder premium (plus Events). Invite-only flow stays on Event requests.
Create a Match Request
- Requires Guild Builder premium and Events permission.
- Open Match Browser → My listings and create a listing.
- Choose GvG, Mixed, or Together (same meanings as Event requests).
- Set title, times, optional event type / party preset / recurrence, and how many opponent slots you need (no upper limit — same idea as inviting any number of guilds on Event requests).
- Posting creates a host calendar event right away (titled like
[GvG · Open] …) so your members can RSVP while you wait for applicants. - Other same-game guilds see it under Browse and can Apply (free for applicants). Applying does not create an event on their calendar yet.
Fill slots & finalize
- Host opens Manage applicants on the listing.
- Pick one applicant guild per opponent slot, then Confirm & finalize.
- Remaining pending applications are declined. Chosen guilds get calendar events; the host’s existing open event is updated into the linked cross-guild event (application already counts as consent — no second accept).
Browse filters
Filter by Title (also matches the host’s event type name), Guild, linkage Type (GvG / Mixed / Together), and optional date / time ranges (your local timezone; time-to is exclusive). Results are grouped by start day into Today, Tomorrow, This week, and Next week and later (sorted earliest first). Listings are limited to your guild’s main game (catalog game); guilds without a main game set are included.
My listings & applications
Open / pending items stay at the top. Filled / accepted and cancelled / declined (and withdrawn) are in collapsed sections below — same pattern as Event requests.
Alerts & logging
Events staff see a Match Browser sidebar badge when open listings have pending applications waiting for slot picks. When Log cross-guild event requests is enabled (Guild settings → Channels), Discord also posts Match Browser activity to that same channel: applications received, withdrawals, declines, listing cancel (to pending applicants), and finalize (host + selected / not-selected guilds).
