Insights Premium

Insights is an optional Guild Builder module (off by default). It requires Guild Builder premium. Owners and admins enable it under Guild settings → Insights. The sidebar then shows Insights with VODs nested under it (and Review Queue when VOD review requests and/or party review requests are also on). Click Insights for the overview. When Insights is off, VODs stays a top-level sidebar item.

Overview dashboard

• Member analytics for a chosen window (7 / 30 / 90 / 365 days): attendance rate, RSVP rate (share of members who responded, including leave of absence) with follow-through (attending RSVPs who showed vs no-show after tracking), VOD engagement, open reviews (open VOD review requests, party reviews, and guild-review nights still unmarked), optional top DKP earners (when DKP is enabled), optional Match Stats participation, and recruitment funnel for staff with Recruiting.
• When Match Stats is enabled, a leaderboard preview and a link to the full leaderboard appear on the same page. Attendance over time (with a link to Statistics) and a short guild performance strip (up to two Guild review columns, with a link to Performance) sit above that preview. Leaderboards, performance charts, and participation ignore published matches with Use for performance off (training games).

In-app VOD viewer

• With Insights on, clicking a VOD card (library, event VODs tab, or member detail) opens the embedded viewer instead of YouTube or Medal.
• YouTube VODs play in-page. A timeline under the player shows timestamped comments, drawings, and reviewer icon markers. A red line marks Match begins at for the VOD in the main player; a bright yellow line marks this VOD’s start; a blue line marks this VOD’s end. Faint yellow/blue lines for other recordings appear only after you add those YouTube VODs to Synced VODs. The bar length follows this VOD (and any synced copies) after match start. Click the bar or a marker to seek. Hover a mark for time, author, and a snippet. Timestamped comments also sit in the right column (next to Details and the Review request card); the timestamp is shown on the left. Filter comments by All, Timestamped, or Near time. Use Use player time when posting. Reviewer feedback appears in the same Comments card when a review is open. Other VODs of the event show as thumbnail cards under the player (grouped by the event party layout when more than one party has VODs, with each uploader’s role color). Use + on a card to add that YouTube VOD to Synced VODs, and − on a synced card to remove it.
• Match begins at and the VOD title sit in the right-hand Details card (the Review request card stacks under it). Match begins is the VOD timeline time when the match starts (optional, can be negative if the recording starts mid-match). Use Use player time to fill it from the current VOD position, then Save. When set, YouTube VODs you add to Synced VODs play muted and stay aligned to match time. Click a synced card (the whole card, not just the label) to switch the main player without reloading. The uploader can edit their own VOD; members with the VODs permission (or owner/admin / Events) can edit title and match start on every VOD. Members with Guild review can also edit those fields while reviewing.
• Draw / annotate pauses the VOD so you can draw or write over it (pen, box, circle, arrow, text, and drag). The player stays paused while you work — clicks on the video do not resume playback. Saving stores a transparent PNG at that timestamp in guild storage; other members see it over the video near that time, like a timestamped comment. The text tool lets you type directly on the video (no box). Drag selects a stroke, shape, or text so you can move it; boxes, circles, and arrows also get corner or endpoint handles to resize. Click the red × at the top-right to delete. Click a selected text label again (or double-click it) to edit the wording. Staff with Guild review also get Mark on the same toolbar: pick an icon (skull, star, flag, and similar) and an optional label. Marks land on this VOD’s time. If the VOD belongs to a guild-reviewable event, they are stored on that night’s match clock so they also appear on Guild review. Clicking the timeline still seeks; Esc cancels the marker picker. Reviewers can delete a mark from its tooltip. Untimed comments stay off the bar.
• Like and share sit on the lower-right of the player. Share copies a deep link. Medal/Twitch that cannot embed keep a watch-on-source button on the player itself.
• Likes, shareable deep links (?t= VOD seconds, ?matchT= match-clock seconds, and optional comment id), and a comments thread live on the same page.

Guild review

• Owners and admins pick which event types can be guild-reviewed under Guild settings → Insights.
• Members with the Guild review permission (owner/admin always) then see a Guild review card on Insights listing those events in the selected window. Reviewed events are highlighted. Unreviewed nights stay visible only to that staff.
• After a night is marked reviewed, owners and admins choose who can watch it: all members, class mentors, or staff with Guild review (the default). Viewers see comments, drawings, markers, and stats but cannot mark reviewed or add annotations.
• Opening an event shows attendance plus every VOD of that night. Tiles are grouped by the event party layout when more than one party has VODs, and use each uploader’s role color. Click a tile to switch the large player without stopping. Use + on a tile to play a muted copy in the Currently playing section under the player (off by default). Click a currently-playing card to make it the main player (the previous one stays in sync), or − to remove it. A Details card above comments shows who uploaded the featured VOD, class, title, and Match begins at — reviewers can edit title and match start without leaving Guild review. Comments, drawings, and reviewer markers are shared for the night. The timeline starts at the earliest VOD (the longest Match begins at) and ends at the longest recording after match start. A red line is match start; a bright yellow line marks the main VOD’s start and faint yellow lines mark other VOD starts; a blue line marks the main VOD’s end and faint blue lines mark other VOD ends. Click to seek, hover for details. Staff with Guild review place markers with Mark (icon plus optional label) and can delete them from the tooltip. Switching the featured VOD does not reset the ruler. Mark the night as reviewed when you are done.
• When Match Stats is on and a published match is bound to that night, Guild review also shows per-role averages, min/max, and an MVP from the scoreboard columns you pick in Guild settings → Match Stats (Tank / Heal / DPS / Support), plus a this night vs 90-day average bar chart per role. Players are grouped by roster role (class fallback if TBD). MVP is the strongest combined score among those columns for the night. This-night numbers include every published match that night; the 90-day baseline uses matches with Use for performance on.

VOD review requests

• A second settings toggle (also off by default) lets members request review on their own VOD, with an optional note.
• Who can give feedback and who can see others’ feedback can be all members, same role (Tank / Heal / DPS / Support), same class, or class mentors only.
• Reviewer names can stay visible to everyone, or be hidden except from owners/admins, or except from owners/admins and class stats staff. A reviewer always sees their own name. Finish-review Discord DMs follow the same rule.
• The VOD owner always sees all feedback on their VOD. A reviewer always sees their own. Owners, admins, and class mentors can always give and see feedback.
• Open requests appear on Insights → Review Queue, with a sidebar count badge like item and currency requests. Search the queue by member display name (semicolon-separated terms, same as Statistics) and filter by role, class, or single vs party review. Each row shows date requested and the latest comment (normal VOD comments or review feedback). Click a column header to sort. After a VOD review request is closed, it stays on the same page in a collapsed Completed VOD reviews section below the open list. Reviewers leave timestamped feedback next to the embedded player. When a reviewer marks their review as finished, the requester is asked in Discord (and on the review page) whether the request can be closed so other reviewers can still pick it up. No keeps it open; Yes closes it. If they do not reply within 24 hours, it closes automatically. Owners and admins can force-close an open request with the red Close button next to Open on the queue, or next to Mark as reviewed on the review page (this skips any pending keep-open vote). They can still reopen a VOD request from that VOD’s Review request card. Owners and admins can optionally pick a Discord forum channel under Guild settings → Insights; VOD review requests and party reviews that reach the queue are posted there as threads (leave it empty to skip).
• A member of an event party can instead request party review from the same Review request card, when owners/admins have turned on Enable party review requests under Guild settings → Insights (off by default, separate from VOD review requests). Attending members of that party (not people marked not attending, leave of absence, or those follow-up states) get a Discord DM with Accept/Decline and a live progress bar that shows both accepts and declines. The requester counts as an accepted vote. Members who do not reply within the guild’s auto-decline window (default 24 hours, 1–168, set under the same Insights settings) are counted as declined. At 80% accepted the request appears in the Review Queue. If everyone has voted and accept is still below 80%, the request is cancelled and the requester is DMed. Members with the Party review permission (or Guild review / owner/admin) open a submitted request at /insights/party-review/… (that party’s VODs, with the same shared timeline, comments, and drawings — distinct from full Guild review at /insights/guild-review/…). When a party reviewer marks their review as finished, the whole party is asked whether to keep the request open. It stays open only if 80% vote keep-open; no reply within 24 hours counts as a close vote. They cannot mark the whole night as guild-reviewed unless they also have Guild review.
