Mercenaries Premium

Guild Builder premium — post per-event mercenary needs to Discord, Accept with a profile character, then place them in the event party layout.

Mercenaries is an optional Guild Builder premium module. Owners and admins enable it under Guild Settings → Events → Mercenaries, then staff with Event parties can post needs from an event.

Settings

  • Request channel — text or announcement channel where each request embed is posted.
  • Ping role — optional Discord role mentioned on every request.
  • Need dropdownRoles & Classes (roles first, then guild classes), Roles only, or Classes only.
  • Add Mercenaries to Applications — shown only when public applications is also enabled. When someone with an open application Accepts as a mercenary, a Trial note is attached to that application.

Posting a request

  • On the event page, Mercenary Request opens a modal with rows: role/class, how many you want, and optional extra information. Use Add Row for more needs (the same role or class can appear more than once), then Send. Click outside the modal or Cancel to close it. The button is hidden once the party layout is locked.
  • The amount is a need, not a signup cap — extra people can still Accept so staff can pick who goes into the roster.
  • Discord gets an embed listing each need plus Accept and Decline. Those buttons stay until an officer Closes the request.

Accepting and declining

  • Clicking Accept looks at their profile characters for the guild’s game and only offers needs those characters can fill (role from the class default, or the exact class).
  • If more than one matching need or character applies, Discord asks them to pick among those matches. A single match is accepted automatically.
  • If they have no characters, or none that match the request, they are sent to /profile to add the wanted role/class, then they can Accept again.
  • Decline withdraws their signup (they leave the Mercenaries bucket and any party slot). They can Accept again later to change role or character.
  • One accepted signup at a time per event. Current guild members cannot accept (they should RSVP on the event instead).

Event party layout

  • Everyone who Accepts appears in a Mercenaries bucket on the event. Staff drag the ones they want into parties.
  • Send Party Assignments includes mercenaries. Roster lines and their DMs are marked Mercenary.
