🔐 Guild member permissions

Owner, admin, and member permission tags — what each toggle allows.

Guild Builder uses three roles on the roster — owner, admin, and member. Owners and admins can do everything in that guild (settings, invites, permission toggles, all events and presets). Members only get extra powers when an owner or admin turns on one or more permissions on the Members page (🔐 on a row). Enabled permissions show as short tags next to that member’s name; hover a tag for the full label.

Permissions are independent — you can mix and match (for example Event parties without Events). Several features also allow CSV export when you hold specific permissions; those are called out below.

Events & calendar

Events	Event creation / editing	Create, edit, and delete calendar events and event types. Create/cancel cross-guild event requests as host; accept/decline as guest. Edit event title, time, preset link, recurrence, signup close, no-reply reminder settings, and post or refresh the Discord event announcement. Trigger Send No-Reply Reminder Now on an event. Export class stats CSV (current class or all classes) when class stats is enabled.
RSVP	RSVP editing	Change any member’s RSVP / attendance on the event page (attending, not attending, tentative, no-show, attended, attended (no RSVP), attended (declined), leave of absence, etc.) — not only their own.
Late RSVP	Review late attendance	Open the Late attendance queue, accept or decline late attendance appeals (no-show / absent corrections). Accepted appeals update attendance and DM the member.
Comments	Moderate event discussion	Delete other people’s comments on the event Discussion tab (authors can still edit or delete their own).

Party layout (presets & events)

Preset edit	Party preset editing	Rename or delete presets; edit groups, slots, fillers, and drag-and-drop layout in the preset editor (auto-save). Import party layout CSV (replaces the whole preset). Export party layout CSV (preset editor and events).
Event parties	Event party editing	Edit the party layout on an event (parties, backups, fillers, member pool drag-and-drop, per-slot overrides). On Mixed cross-guild events: create teams and assign parties (including other guilds’ groups) — cannot edit foreign guild roster slots. Send party assignment DMs from the event page. Export party layout CSV for that event (own guild only on GvG/Mixed).

Any guild member can view event party layouts and presets without these permissions. Export party layout CSV needs Preset creation, Events, Event parties, Preset edit, or Stats (owner/admin always). Import CSV needs Preset edit.

Members & roster

Roster	Member, class & nickname	On Members: set each member’s category (tank/heal/DPS/support/TBD), guild class, party/event display name, in-game name override, and roster nickname. Toggle leave of absence (✈️) for any member when self-service is off, or for all members when self-service is on. LoA excludes no-reply reminder DMs and can sync future RSVPs to LoA.
Classes	Class creation / editing	Create, update, and remove guild class definitions (name, weapons, icons) via the classes API. The Guild Settings → Classes UI is limited to owner/admin; this permission is for staff who manage class lists through tooling that calls the API.
Recruiting	Review invite applications	Open Recruitment, view invite applications, accept or decline applicants (accept adds them to the guild and sends a Discord DM).
Stats	Guild statistics	Open Statistics (attendance / RSVP reports and filters). Export class stats CSV and export party layout CSV (events and presets) alongside event/preset permissions above.

Only owner and admin can change someone’s role (owner/admin/member) or open the permission toggles. Any member can export the Members roster CSV (in-game name and weapons) from that page.

Class stats

Requires Class stats enabled in guild settings. All members can view the roster and edit their own entries.

Class mentor	Class stats mentor	Edit other members’ class stat profiles; send update reminders for one class (members who have not updated since a chosen date). Counts toward class-stats export together with Events and Stats.
Class stats delete	Delete class stats entries	Delete other members’ class stat profiles (in addition to mentor powers). Own entries can always be deleted by the member.

Export class stats CSV (current class or all classes): Events, Class mentor, or Stats (owner/admin always). Send update reminders to all classes (missing main-class entries) is owner/admin only.

Loot distribution

Requires Loot distribution enabled in guild settings. All members can submit and edit their own applications.

Loot	Loot distribution setup & review	Review all applications on the loot page: change status (New / Active / Declined / Accepted), add staff comments, and manage application form fields (add/edit/reorder). Use `/set_itemappstate` in Discord forum threads. Enabling loot, forum channel, and tags in Guild Settings remains owner/admin.
DKP	Grant DKP to members	When DKP is enabled under loot distribution, grant DKP to members from the Members → Details popup. Owners and admins can always grant; members see their own balance when opening their detail pane.

Currency distribution

Requires Currency distribution enabled in guild settings. All members see payout statistics (member totals) and submit their own requests from My requests; the full request roster is staff-only.

Currency	Currency distribution setup & review	Open Currency requests: review all requests, change status (New / Active / Completed / Cancelled / Rejected), bulk-assign payouts, view Payout history, and manage additional application form fields. Enabling the module in Guild Settings remains owner/admin.

Guild tickets

Requires Tickets enabled in guild settings. All members can create and view their own tickets.

Tickets	Review & manage guild tickets	Open Ticket dashboard and All tickets (defaults to open tickets), assign case workers, close any ticket, and see stats for all types. Enabling the module, ticket types, and Discord settings remains owner/admin. Per-type handlers are auto-assigned as case workers on new tickets and see their types on the dashboard without this permission.

Rules & Info

Requires Rules & Info enabled in guild settings. All members can read active pages they are allowed to see (unrestricted pages, or restricted pages where they match a listed member or permission).

Rules & Info	Manage Rules & Info pages	Create, edit, deactivate, and delete pages; set sort order and optional per-page visibility (specific members and/or permission tags). Enabling the module remains owner/admin. Managers always see inactive and restricted pages.

Discord embed builder

Requires Embed builder enabled in guild settings. Only staff with this permission (or owner/admin) can open the builder; regular members do not use this module.

Tag	Permission	What they can do
Embed builder	Send Discord embeds	Open Admin → Embed builder, compose embeds with live preview (color, author, title, description, fields, thumbnail, image, footer, timestamp), and send to selected text or announcement channels (up to 10 per send). Enabling the module remains owner/admin.

Discord-only: Slash commands such as /track-attendance follow your server’s Discord roles and bot setup, not these web permission toggles.
