Member custom fields

Guild-configurable roster fields (including button icons with optional Discord role sync), list display, and the Members gear options modal.

Owners and admins configure custom fields under Guild settings → Members → Custom fields. Staff with Member, class & nickname (Roster) edit values on the member detail pane and, for fields marked show-on-list, on the Members roster.

Field types

  • The same shared types as applications, loot, and currency: text, long text, link, number, dropdown, slider, image, and class selection.
  • Button — Up to eight choices. Each choice has a site icon (same icon set as the navbar), optional colour, label, and optional Discord role. On the member detail pane, staff pick a choice from a coloured dropdown (icon + label). Selecting a choice keeps that member’s Discord roles in sync with the roles mapped on that field (other mapped roles for the field are removed; clearing the value removes all of them). Role sync failures are logged; the saved value still sticks.

Show on member list

  • Any field can be marked Show on member list.
  • Button fields appear in the avatar area as a 2×2 grid shared with leave of absence and (when enabled) member validation. At most three button fields can show there, or two when validation is on. Roster staff click to cycle choices; others see a read-only indicator when a value is set.
  • Other field types render in the mid column, right-aligned next to the category/class controls (staff notes, when enabled, still fill the space on the left): truncated text, links, compact slider meters, and so on.

Members list chrome

  • Sticky column headers sort the roster (category, class, display name, in-game name, DKP when enabled) — same as the old sort dropdown.
  • Role / permission tags and LoA sit beside the display name and wrap to the next line only when the row runs out of width (they do not dump onto a separate block under the name).
  • A display-name or in-game mismatch warning overlays the field so category / name columns stay aligned with other rows.
  • Member options (gear) stays on every staff-managed row for layout consistency. It is greyed out for the guild owner, for your own row, and when an admin views another admin (only the owner can change or remove admins). Active gear opens a modal with guild role, remove member, and permission toggles.

Separately, under Guild settings → Members → Member roles and Classes, owners/admins can map each member category and guild class to a Discord role. Changing a member’s category or class syncs that Discord role (same remove-others / add-current pattern as button fields). Use Re-sync category Discord roles / Re-sync class Discord roles to apply mappings to the whole roster after configuring them. Related: permissions · member detail · Guild Builder overview.
