🤝 Cross-guild event requests
GvG, Mixed, and Together — invite ally guilds and sync calendar events.
Use Event requests in the guild sidebar to invite other guilds to a shared event. Each invited guild must accept on the web before calendar events are created for everyone. Requires Events permission to create or cancel as host, or to accept/decline as a guest (owners and admins always can).
Linkage types
- GvG — Opponents see combined RSVP counts only in the cross-guild box on event detail. They do not see your party layout or member names. Your guild edits only your parties.
- Mixed — All guilds see every guild’s parties. Staff with Event parties can create teams, drag parties between teams, and assign your guild’s parties via dropdown. You cannot edit another guild’s roster slots — only move their party groups between teams.
- Together — Full visibility: tabbed read-only party layouts per guild on event detail (your guild’s layout is still editable below). Ally rosters and party slots use in-game names on layouts (same as single-guild events).
Workflow
- Host creates a request: title, times (5-minute steps), optional recurrence (daily or weekly, same as single-guild events), optional event type, optional party preset (host guild only), and one or more guest guilds (search by name).
- While pending, placeholder events appear grey on each participant’s calendar.
- Each guest guild accepts or declines. Host can cancel while pending.
- When every guest has accepted, the request finalizes: one real calendar event per guild (recurring when set), titled with
[GvG], [Mixed], or [Together] prefix. Host preset copies to the host event’s party layout when set.
After finalize
- Event detail shows a Cross-guild event card: linkage type, partners, per-guild RSVP summary.
- Links from the request list open each guild’s calendar event.
- Mixed — “Team 1” is created automatically; add more teams on event detail.
- Together — Use the per-guild tabs above your party editor to view ally layouts.
Alerts & logging
- Staff with Events permission see a sidebar badge and in-app banner when action is needed.
- Optional Discord logs (Guild settings → Channels): invite sent, guest accept/decline, all accepted — when a logging channel is set.
Request list
Pending requests stay at the top. Accepted and Declined (including host-cancelled) requests are grouped in sections collapsed by default — same pattern as loot distribution applications.
